The Partners

Robert qualified as a chartered accountant in 1977, and is also a member of the Academy of Experts and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He became a partner of fft in 1980 and is the senior partner in the forensic accounting department of the firm. Throughout his professional career Robert has acted as accountant, auditor and advisor to owner managed businesses of various sizes and industries.

Ian qualified as a chartered accountant in November 1983 and joined fft in 1988, becoming a Partner a year later. Since joining he has helped many businesses on their path to success and has been heavily involved in growing the Practice into what fft is today. Ian has a wealth of experience in many different aspects of general practice including audit, forensic accounting, tax planning and resolving HMRC enquires. As a keen tennis player and sports enthusiast, Ian knows how to wind down away from the office.

Andrew joined fft as a Partner in May 2004. Andrew looks after a wide range of clients and has been involved in multi-million pound corporate deals. He gives clients of all sizes his personal attention, helping them through the accounting maze so that they develop their full potential. Through his work, Andrew has assisted charities who have used his expertise to help raise funds and develop charitable projects. Outside of accounting, Andrew spends most of his time with his family and watching football.

Keith qualified as a chartered accountant in 1976 and set up in sole practice in 1983. He joined fft as a Partner in 1986. Keith looks after personal and corporate clients with their tax and business affairs. He has a wealth of varied experience in many different aspects of general practice including tax planning, audit and resolving HMRC enquires. He also helps solicitors and executors with probate, estate accounts and the taxation of the deceased and the estate. Outside of work his hobbies are reading cycling ,sudoku and chess.

Peter has been a Partner in the Practice for over 20 years and is a member of the Tax Faculty of ICAEW and the Audit and Assurance Faculty. Peter specialises in providing our wide range of services to personal clients and owner-managed business clients, ranging from sole traders to substantial trading groups. He has a wealth of commercial experience, supported by sound technical skills, with particular regard to personal and corporate taxation matters. When away from the office Peter spends time with his family and makes time for his interests in Golf and Game Fishing.

Trevor qualified in 1970 and became a partner in Chadwick and Hassall in 1972 who merged with fft in 1994. An experienced Chartered Accountant with a wide range of experience, Trevor is our wages expert and runs a very busy payroll department as well as looking after personal clients with their tax and business affairs.
